Cities and Memory: Dada Sounds

I recently contributed a new work in two parts to the wonderful project Dada Sounds by Cities and Memory. This was to celebrate 100 years since the founding of the Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich, and the beginning of Dada. My work takes a 5-minute field recording I made of Melbourne’s iconic Luna Park and surrounds, with a reimagined version of this recording that uses Dada techniques of reassemble and abstraction. Very happy to have been able to contribute to this wonderful global mapping project through Dada Sounds. You can find out more and listen to the diversity of sound responses, locations and images here.
