Ukranian born Australian pianist Sonya Lifschitz and myself have been developing a series of new works for piano exploring the intersection of electronics with acoustic and prepared piano sounds. We recently finished the first stage of this project with a week of recording sessions. As the recordings get mixed and manipulated into shape I’ll post some audio links in the not too distant future. Below some photos from some of the recent recording sessions.
