Emotional Life of Objects
The Emotional Life of Objects, George Paton Gallery, L2 Union House, University of Melbourne, Melbourne, VIC
Unique sound responses to exhibition artworks that engage with the exhibition theme of memory, history, emotions and objects.Curated by Kate Richards and Penelope Lee, the Emotional Life of Objects exhibition brings together several artists working in different mediums whose works explore the relationships between people and objects, revealing rich narratives of history, identity, loss and comfort. Composition works respond to these works as well as their own objects of significance, exploring the ways sound can act as an emotional conduit to memory, history, time and place.
