In Reconfiguring Orpheus I will improvise using a number of sampled fragments from Monteverdi’s opera towards a reimagining of the original as an electronic work. This is a solo performance at 7pm, before the full production of the opera Orpheus starting at 7.30pm, at the wonderful heritage venue The Meat Market in North Melbourne. More information here.
